We are a group of extraordinary musicians & experienced music educators dedicated to providing quality, customized music education for students of all kinds. We offer private lessons, after-school programs, and summer camp.

Hummingbird Music School Offerings

 

Private Lessons

We offer private in-home or online lessons to suit the learning style of each individual student in piano, guitar, ukulele, woodwinds, brass, strings, voice & more.

After school Music Classes

Our after-school enrichment music classes are scheduled for Fall, Winter and Spring Sessions at schools in San Carlos, Redwood City and Menlo Park.

rock band summer Camp

Campers collaborate with bandmates and fellow musicians, experiencing what it's like to play in a real rock band! Weekly sessions run through June, July and August.

 
 

Our Philosophy

We believe that music lessons should be supportive, nurturing & fun. Whether in private or semi-private lessons, group after-school music classes, or summer rock band camp, students are given a solid foundation in instrument technique, note and rhythm reading, music theory and music history. But most of all, students experience the joy of playing music.
